17A.1 Nepal …………. The Government of Nepal may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette to establish Urban Development District Coordinating Committee to coordinate the work of the committees to be formed in different localities, markets, rural areas and urban areas at the district level. 17A.2 Fifty percent of the total number of members in the committee formed according to sub-section 17A.1 will be public representatives and social workers. 17A.3 The term of office of the chairman and members of the committee formed according to sub-section 17A.1 shall be as specified in the notification under the same sub-section. 17A.4 If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary changes in the members of the committee formed according to Sub-Section 17A.1 subject to Sub-Section 17A.2. 17A.5 The work of the committee formed according to sub-section 17A.1 shall be as prescribed duties and rights.
